My brother is suffering with heavy pain in the hip. When he puts body wait on that particualr side (while walking) he is feeling heavy pain. He palys ball badminton regualarly and he is teacher he should stand 5 - 6 hours for a day, his age is 37 years.

well my father used to have the same problem. we did lots of things but nothing worked.
but finaly we found out the reason, and that was the way he sat....
try to make your brother sit straight.
the backbone distributes weight normaly to the whole body. so if you sit improperly like
a. not straight.
b. bent towards left or right.
weight increases on one side of the the hip.

the same thing should be considered while standing.you should stand straight and your back should be upright.

my father is a proffessor in chemistry he used to stand by puting one foot forward. his pain used to increase while he checked the assignments and test papers. coz he then had to sit for hours.

His joint in his hip is probably out of place. Have him go to an orthopedic doctor or even a chiropractor. He can get some help and relief from the discomfort. He shouldn't just ignore it, it could cause additional damages.

I suffer from the same problem for the first time and I'm 39 and active. It's getting cooler and my RN Mom, thinks it is arthritis and stresses seeing my doctor soon for pain management and confirmation. It could be a repeated stress injury that still needs pain management.

He should go to an orthopedic surgeon and get the hip checked. He may have dislocated it or he might need a hip replacement.

He could have a congenital hip disorder that has become more obvious with constant exercise.

He might want to find a reasonable priced chiropractor. One that can do his job with out using xrays and telling you that you need to keep coming back for more visits.

if he is standing a lot and if he stands with his weight on one leg, some of the muscles and ligaments can become damaged....he should see his doctor for things to do to strengthen and it should become bettter

It is Arthritis.For sure,unless he is younger than 45,then its just he needs to walk more.
