u should start to do regular exercises everyday single day from now. u will lose weight and build your stamina at the same time, which is great for basketball. Then start a strict diet program, lots of vegetables and fruits everyday, this will help to reduce weight rapidly....

you dont need to lose weight you just might need to start working out a little. start slow and work your way up. it wont happen over night. start by walking five days out of the week then work up to jogging. you can lift weight as well. you are a growing boy and shouldnt lose weight.
