we are thinking about it as an anniversery gift next year but are unsure as to whether we should or not do it?

they go off road abit, currently taking there VT Commodore sedan and its not really suitable for off road usage, they dont do anything heavy though, just dirt raods and some potholes.

if we do get them one it would be either a Subaru Forrester or Honda CRV, NEW ONE not used......and would be driven across from Western Australia when we come down for a holiday earlyish next year, like feburay,

anyway
A) would you do it for your parents
B) what one would you buy? Forrester or CRV and why

thanks everyone
Mitch

If you like the honda style I would definetly think about buying them a Toyota Rav4.

Toyota has a better reputation than the honda and you can get the Rav4 with a diesel engine.

Very cheap to run :)

If I could afford to buy my Dad a vehicle he wanted or needed I would go for it, as long as I knew he truly wanted it and would get great use out of it. I don't know anything about either vehicle so I won't choose.
