We went out for a month and a half last year until i totally messed things up. We are best friends now, and I still love him. I truly believe we are soulmates. Neither of us has gone out with anyone else. How do I get him back? Please help me, I cant mess this up again.

kinda tough to give you advise without more background information behind this "mess up"
whatever you did to ruin the relationship, if he's still friends with you, then he must have at least forgiven you, at least partially.
you just gotta open your heart and tell him everything you feel. tell him you still love him and want another shot.. that's pretty much it. if he's willing to give it a go, then that's great. if not, then there's really not much else you can do.
