So Jon and I like each other and we want to date. We both play for the same hockey team... our problem is that his parents think he's too young to date and I don't want to have to keep our relationship a secret, but I also really want to be with him. What should we do?

Well if his parents dislike your relationship, chances are they're going to dislike you because of it. I would wait a while until they approve. Maybe just hang out with eachother a little and go over eachothers houses so the parents get comfortable with you around. Then ease them into the idea of a real relationship.

You probably should hold up for a while, just talk to each other and stuff, but you probably shouldn't date until your parents say it's okay. When I was 14 I had a really big crush and I still love that boy after 6 years!!!! At that time we were comfortable waiting and we didn't want to get our parents upset either.
