I am a Christian and I have read the bible. I am not sure that I have read a part in there where it says that we should judge others. I believe that it says that we have no right to judge others since we are all sinners the same. I got on here thinking that there would be some helpful answers to questions and instead, there is so much anger, criticsism, and hate. Being gay, being of a differant religion, having a differant oppinion.........Why are we judging others? Jesus works in my life and he works in others. People will interpret things differantly no matter what but the one thing that is clear in the bible many, many times is that we all sin and your sin is no greater than mine, and mine to yours, no matter what the sin is, all sin carries the same weight in our Father's eyes. I have no right to judge others being a sinner myself. I hope that this will be read by one person who may be doing the critisism to take a deeper look at what Jesus expects of us all. God Bless.

Thanks you are one of very few who do not judge. As a person who doesnt believe in god but does not discount the possibility of his existence, I also came on here looking to find intelligent, tolerant sharing of ideas and opinions. I have encountered nothing but judgement, intolerance and straight up maliciousness from ALL groups of people on here athiests, agnostics, christians, muslims, catholics etc etc. I have read rude, hateful and judgemental comments from all and it is nice to see you truly follow what your beliefs are, people like you are the members of religion that I enjoy talking to because you are not judgemental.

OMG! Why is it that people can honestly say that's it's okay to judge because the bible tells you to hate sin? A person themselves cannot be sin. You cannot judge someone else's sin. If you do this, it's basically saying that God is no greater than you, that you can handle his job. What happened to someone without sin casting the first stone. Good question, and I totally agree with you. Hate the sin, fine, but don't hate the person, or condemn them to hell, because this is not you job or your place.

Well, see it is kind of like this. When i get flustrated about my situation, and complain. That would upset my family and girl friend and cause a lot of trouble. So to peoples face I am nice and cheerful and everyone likes that. But I need to vent.
Or it gets all clogged up in there. So we get on here with perfect strangers who could care less how we feel about things.
Then we tell them their stupid and wrong and being childish and get mad and even use capital letters. Put religion down knowing we are going to get a big response. This is a place for people learning the computer who has time to kill like getting well or convelesent hospitals or just at home. Bored people! older retired people. Who can be anything they want. Vent flustrations, get even with men for something their husband did.
When you think this is bad, think of all the men that don't get bawled out by wives and girl friends because they can come on here and vent. Take it like a man and save some poor bastardo!

Amen, Amen, Amen...I can't agree with you any more. I've been trying to say the same thing on here. There are so many people who are calling themselves Christians. And not offering any light only judgement...And that isn't their place. It isn't our place to pass Critisism, hate or even judgement. If they aren't belivers and followers. You still have no right to judge. i am a christian..And you know the bible basically tells me to love not hate.

If he is particularly seeing a woman why is he calling you? Oh, I forgot, he refuses to make a dedication. Nope, sorry, it may not revert again to what you concept you had. It was once all approximately intercourse as is seen while he attempted 3 occasions to get on your pants, ignoring your objections. Friends do not disrespect peers like that. Put him on forget about. Ask him to not touch you anymore, and transfer on. Whatever you do, don't permit him speak you into being by myself with him, primarily at his position. Sounds like subsequent time you'll be able to emerge as going all of the approach whether or not you wish to or now not and potentially emerge as knocked up.

Most Christians dont live by their own bible, that's why. Your bible says "judge not, lest ye be judged" and it says "forgiveness is divine" among other things. Yet most Christians only live by that when it suits them. Instead they do exactly what they're told not to and then tell everyone else they're going to hell while sitting on their high and mighty thrones.

I guess man in glass house shouldn't throw stones. Aren't we supposed to love the sinner but hate the sin?

Mainworry, you bring up a very good point. The Bible can be used to back either side of an argument. Slavery is a good example.

Psa 97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Hate evil.

Guess what? You have to spiritually discern evil.
