Everytime I attempt to redownload Adobe Reader, I get an Error Message: This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel. I have the new Internet Explorer 7. What can I do to download Adobe again and fix this problem?

Did you use the Add/remove panel to uninstall Adobe? IF you did not then the program is still on your pc. You can redownload Adobe but instead of clicking on the file use the righ click and choose Save Target As. After download, you can double-click the exe file to begin install. The link to the file below:

Ok, I think i know exactly what your problem is.

The file association "*.PDF" is not linked to open up with adobe reader.
The fix: Go to "My Computer" > "Tools" > "Folder Options" > "File Types" tab > type "pdf" to quickly get down to pdf > click "Change" > "Open With" - Scroll down to where it says Adobe Reader 8 and click that. make sure the box is checked "always use this program to open this file" click "Ok"

hopefully that works.
