Or will you simply still think homosexuality is wrong, but search another book that agrees with your prejudice?

(a scriptosexual is, of course, a person who finds his sexual morals in the Bible)

First of all, my God is your God and everyone else's God, even if some refuse to claim him.

Some of my best friends are homosexuals. Their lifestyle is their own business. I respect them both as people and as friends. There are none of us who is perfect in this world. Would it surprise you, however, that homosexuals believe in God? The ones I know are church goers, and in fact, one of them is a minister of the Gospel. People are born homosexual. It is not a choice. It is who they are. And God created all of us. And he loves us all; even those that society deems as flawed or imperfect.

The Bible isn't the only resource that people have if they believe that homosexuality is wrong. Quite frankly, there are many rules in the Bible that weren't carried out from day one -- for instance, there was never a "Year of Jubilee", and no one ever talks about the disposal of mildewed cloth after those laws are given.

No, the sexual laws are kept alive because, at some level, people found them to be meaningful. Ethics, after all, have to work, and rules make sense. That prohibitions against gays and lesbians were kept alive, and are woven into the TRADITION of most major religious (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, to name a few) as well as a host of other sexual prohibitions speaks to the fact that societies thought it necessary to outlaw this activity.

Finally, you argue a hypothetical that is absurd. People believe (or don't believe) something as an article of FAITH, which by definition can't be PROVED. If you can PROVE something then you don't need FAITH, right? So, you are asking, "If your subject of faith is PROVEN..." Well, that's like asking the smell of the color purple, complete nonsense.

No. The reason is simple. I have nothing to apologize for to any homosexual. Just because I personally do not agree with their lifestyle choices doesn't mean I hate, mistreat, or abuse them. I treat them the same way I would treat any other individual.

On the other hand... hasn't it dawned on you that your question exposes the prejudice YOU have -- against Christians? It's hard to take your question seriously if you model the very same behavior you are campaigning against.

If prejudice is such an important issue to you, the first person to change is the one gazing back at you from your bathroom mirror every morning. Then you'll be able to treat everyone else you see with the dignity and respect we all deserve as human beings.

If you are truly confident about your position on this or any other matter, you won't need to make derogatory comments about another group of people to prove your points. The truth will speak for itself.

God is not false and it is always a vain attempt on people that read the bible but choose to make it say something it does not and if you do read it and take it for the divine word of God then you know that in the "eyes of the Lord homosexuality is an abomination " they are not as they say born it is a choice made no one is born homosexual. Look at the examples of those that were homosexual found Christ and are homosexual no longer. In that context I shall never have to apologize for my belief in the word of God

Of course I would apologize. I would not partake in it and would still think it weird, but I just wouldn't preach it wrong. There's no point in condemning wrong that turned out not to be wrong. Sadly though (for you) I don't believe that my religion, Christianity, is wrong. God is NOT false and can't be proven false. So I don't see the apologizing thing happening. Sorry, I don't see this scenario becoming true.

God can't be proven false. Get over it. And since he can't be then I won't apologize to homosexuals. Plus, I have no reason to apologize to homosexuals, I've never done anything bad to a homosexual in my life, they are sinners trapped in sin just like an alchoholic or a crack head or just a normal person who is not saved, so why should I poin out homosexuals to crusade against when I could just preach to everybody regardless of sexual orientation. Who knows, maybe I will actually reach a gay or two, maybe not, but I've never made it my goals to end homosexuality, only to end atheism (however impossible that is).

First thing, God is real. Period. He will NEVER be proven false. And no, never would I apologize to the homosexuals because that's just plain GROSS.

i am a christian and i don't think homosexuality is wrong i wish people would quit relating religion and sexual preference and i don't have anything to apologize for considering i have homosexual friends and my half-brother is homosexual. Why are you assuming that they are wrong maybe you should have the "brains" to admit that maybe just maybe there is a god and that could be right but probably not

I have nothing to apologize for since I leave the judging to God. Merry Christmas!

If there were no God then families of murdered relatives need to apologize to the killer because it wasn't wrong. If you were raped then you would you apologize to your attacker since rape wouldn't be wrong either? We would have to release every sex offender in America and apologize to them. Is that what your saying?
