Did you know the prefix (a), as in (a)theist, and (a)gnostic means indifferent?
You guys are more self-righteous and "holier than thou" than the ones you
piss and moan about!
SICKENING!

I know exactly what you mean! Atheists and agnostics are always trying to convince people that their religion is a lie! I see more atheists preaching about religions than I do Jehovah's witnesses or evangelists!

EDIT: Amanda D, the phrase "holier than thou" in this sense of the word doesn't mean that people claim to be holier, since atheists/agnostics don't believe in a holy god, it just means that they act like their religion is better, or like they're better because of their religion.

Why are you grouping everyone into a stereotypical category?? Not everyone is the same. In case you didnt know its only organized religions that "crusade" around killing people for not believing what they believe....

Ps in case you wondered my lack of belief can be described as spiritual agnostic. I have no "holier than thou" attitude because I dont believe there is anything "holy" in this world since that term implies the existence of god and is tied to religion.

Don't know where you received your education but a prefix of 'a' mean 'not'.

As in asynchronous, atypical, and asexual. Just as atheist and agnostic means not theist and not gnostic.

"from the Greek a, meaning "without" and gnosis, "knowledge", translating to unknowable" from wikipedia. Sorry, but you are wrong. I do not claim to be holier than anyone, thank you for stereotyping.

the 'a' prefix CAN mean indifferent, or against......

The 'crusading' atheists and agnostics were probably verbally assualted by some crusading believers....can you suggest a better defense?

Oh, I'm sorry. Was being a crusading "holier than thou" jerk your exclusive domain? I didn't realize we'd infringed on a copyright.

Oh yes, we are leading a great crusade from our home computers! Bwahahaha! Dumb.

And how many have our "internet crusade" killed like the Christian crusades did/have?
