The Lord made a everlasting covenant with Abram.
Genesis 12:1-2
1 The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you.
2 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you;
I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
Genesis 13:14-17
14 The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, "Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. 15 All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring [a] forever. 16 I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. 17 Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you."
Genesis 15:18-21
18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, "To your descendants I give this land, from the river [d] of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.

During First Jewish-Roman War (66-73), Titus sacked Jerusalem and destroyed the Second Temple, leaving only the Western Wall. In 135, following the fall of a Jewish revolt led by Bar Kokhba in 132–135, the Roman emperor Hadrian expelled most Jews from Judea, leaving large Jewish populations in Samaria and the Galilee. He also changed the name of the Roman province of Judea (Israel) to Syria Palaestina in an attempt to eradicate any connection with the now conquered Jews.[2] In what was considered a form of psychological warfare, the Romans also tried to change the name of Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina, but that had less staying power. Over time the name Syria Palaestina was shortened to Palaestina, which by then had become an administrative political unit within the Roman Empire.
Nowhere in the Bible does God say he has rejected the Jews, they will be the focal point issue in the near future.
Jesus will return to the earth to reign and rule in the third temple for 1000 yrs.

I know that there are Palestinians who hold deeds to land that is now being occupied by Israeli settlers. I think that in a court of law, the legally binding deeds would carry more weight than biblical passages.
Del: There were people in Israel prior to the Exodus. You remember all the men women and children that the Israelites killed? You know, the ones who had all the cities and farms....

the folk occupying the famous land section referred to as Israel, are, for the main, not made from Biblical Yisraelites (the descendants of Ya'aqob/Yisrael with the aid of Shem), yet are in general Ashkenazi Jews, a people of Khazar-Turkish descent with the aid of Noah's son Japheth, alongside with the Palestinians, the folk descending from the classic Philistines. In a special historic twist, the call "Palestine" has grow to be the common call for each and all of the land that replaced into at one time prevalent because of the fact the "Holy Land." The be conscious Palestine is a spinoff from the be conscious Philistia, a spinoff from the be conscious Philistine(s). The Philistines have been the real unique inhabitants (i.e. Palestinians) of the land till now the unique conquest via the classic Biblical Yisraelites. Israel is in undemanding terms an issue of time .

the land doesn't belong to israel because of the bible, it belongs to israel because the israelis are the ones who built the cities, built the farms, built the economy, created the businesses, built the scools, and cultivated the land. the arabs never gave a damn about that land until the jews started to arrive, otherwise they wouldn't have turned it into such a worthless garbage heap. it was only when the jews arrived and began to make improvements and fix all the damage that had been done to the land when the arabs started flooding israel with "palestinians". even yasser arafat, the most famous "palestinian", is not "palestinian." he is egyptian, born and raised, just like almost all the "palestinian" refugees actually come from neighboring arab states. its a bit telling that when the turks, who owned the land before the british, spoke of the palestinians, they were referring to the jews living in jerusalem, not arabs.

The Muslim claim to Israel is entirely psychological/spiritual. Muslims let the land of Israel lie in ruins for centuries as a testament to "God having abandoned the Jews".
Jews reclaiming sovereignty in Israel and building it again from the ground up proves the Muslim claim false.
Islamic culture is based around shame and honor. Only by "finishing Hitler's work" as the Arabs are fond of calling it, can they regain their honor.
Islam calls for the suppression of Jews (and other non-Muslims peoples through an apartheid-type social system called Dhimmitude).

You can't quote passages from the Bible to a Muslim. Their standard charge is that Jews and Christians changed it
(never mind that no proof or correction is offered).
The curious thing about the Qur'an is that, for the sake of
argument if you grant that Mohammad's visions were from
God through the angel Gabriel, it was dictated by illiterate
Mohammad to his followers. What assurance is there that
his followers didn't corrupt the Qur'an?
Imagine Mohammad saying such and such, and the guy
writing it down thinks to himself, "no, we're not having any
of that!"
You should move to Iran and ask these sorts of questions.

Parts of israel have been inhabited by palestinians for a long time and was considered theirs. There was actual proof of habitation, not just some fictional book. In fact, some parts of israel are legally recognised as parts of other countries such as syria, but israel refuses to get out. That was the cause of the recent escalation in conflict

I noticed you're quoting the Hebrew Torah or Pentateuch. This question came up in our history of religions class and the Koran also has similar passages that give the land to them. It also says that if at any point in history they were in possesion of any land, even if they lose it, it's still rightfully theirs and they can reclaim it by the sword.
So i guess it just depends which "holy book(s)" you're reading
