Tell her to stop it. If she's really your friend she will.

You are getting a lot of correct answers. It simply comes down to this – If she is a real friend then she will respect your families likes and dislikes and try to make sure that she doesn’t do or say things that will bother them in their home. It’s a respect thing. It doesn’t matter what your friend thinks is right or wrong. What matters is showing you respect by acting right in front of your parents and family. All you need to do is simply tell her that it is something that is not to your parents liking, and that you would really appreciate it if she or he would control him or herself when in your home. If this friend does not go along with your request then he or she is not really a friend. You should further yourself from this person.

Talk to her about it, let her know your family's PRINCIPLES just tell her to stop!!!!!. it is a bad practice anyway and before she settles and thinks it's normal to cuss you must take a serious stand and let her know it's disrespectful..... if she considers you her friend she will stop..

Just give her a dirty look the next time she does it. If she doesn't get the hint, talk to her. You could even just say like Name! in the moment to get her to realize the problem. If that doesn't work, then sit her down and tell her to stop or she can't hang out at your house anymore because your parents won't allow it.

She sounds like a winner with that mouth. I think your parents will be able to figure this out if you and your friend can't.

They'll end up not letting her come over. Public humiliation and embarrassment do a lot to change a person's behavior.

Take her aside the next time she swears and politely explain to her that it's very uncomfortable for you and your family to hear her swearing all of the time, and that it's quite an unbecoming habit.

If that doesn't work, yell at her to "Shut the *uck up, dammit!" That should get her attention :)

you now what you tell her that you do not like that and it is not nice and it is inappropriate. if she does not stop you tell her that you do not want to be her friend unless she is going to respect you and your parents. because let me tell you if that happened, i you tell them "where not friends anymore because there is no need for that language, there is always another word and a better word than bad words." hope you take my advice. hope you make the right choose

Talk to her and tell her that it bothers you and your family. Ask her to stop. If she stops, then she respects you and your family and is a good friend. If not, find a new friend.

I swear like a sailor, but I also know who I can swear around and who I have to censor for. Ask her not to swear around your parents (or yourself if you don't like the swearing) tell her that it is disrespectful.
