Yes, soon.
Maybe next year.
Christ gave some events to recognize the end times.
In Matt.24:3-8, Mark 13:5-8, Luke 21:8-11.
Many shall come in my name (authority) saying I am Christ (Christian) and shall deceive many.
The best example of this is the so-called Rapture. This is a LIE which can easily be disproved by God’s Word. Christ returns at the seventh trump.
Wars and rumors of war.
Nation shall rise (rouse from obscurity) against (along side) nation kingdom against (along side) kingdom.
The words “shall rise” (eg-i'-ro) in Greek means “rouse from obscurity”.
This word “against” (epi) in Greek means “along side” not in opposition to.
Since 1990 (30) new countries have emerged. We now have the global market place or the global community.
Famines.
Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
This famine of hearing the words of the LORD is very apparent on TV. Maybe a verse or two then mans’ words for 20 minutes.
Pestilences.
Aids, mad cow disease, bird flu and etc.
Earthquakes in diverse places.
This word “earthquakes” (seismos) in Greek means both “earthquake and tempest”.
Look at the hurricanes we have been having.
All these are the beginning of sorrows (birth pangs).
This word “sorrows” (odin) in Greek means “birth pangs of childbirth”.
The birth pangs of a new dispensation, and the contractions are getting closer together. The water may have broke during the tsunami of 2004.

Many of the prophetic revelations of the bible have been fulfilled, but not all. It really doesn't matter at all, if you are attached to the belt loop of God. He is the Alpha and the Omega. What that means is there is no end or beginning in God. What happens is that no matter if this ball of styrofoam was to dissappear this moment you cannot kill the creative aspect of the mind of Christ. The next moment you would be experiencing something, in this body or in another form. God lives in the here and now and it is always now where He lives. The time demention was put in place as a registar of the events of each now moment. Yes the World is going to end as you know it. There will be wars and rumors of wars. It really all is a spiritual battle and God wins in the end. Reason being, is that He does not have a battle with Himself and the darkness that does try to come into the game cannot overpower the light and never will. Reality is that just a moment ago is gone and will never return. It is gone gone gone. So I guess you could say that every moment has its own armageddon. The now moment will always be here and in Gods mind it always has. So what you do with that reality will determine your future. God has given us a way to experience the reality of the moment. If we can grasp on to it with the help of the Holy Spirt that was sent to be our teacher, and the mind of Christ that all men are suppose to operate in, then we too Can forget about time and start our eternity NOW with God. It is only going to take us as far as it will in these fleshy bodies or in this mindset. If we are attached at the hip with God then we have to go where he goes, and we will rule with Christ forever with a brand new mind moment to moment forever or forever Now.

Yes, the bible shows we are, but the exact day for Armageddon nobody knows but God. (Matt 24:36)
The scriptures, however, helps us to see that we are living in the last days. Last days of what ? This system of things. (2 tim 3:1-5;Daniel 2:44;Matthew 24:1-14)
These signs given by God, helps us to see that Armageddon is close.
What is Armageddon ? The end of the world ? No. The bible explains that the earth will always be inhabited. (Ecc 1:4:Isa 45:18) But without evil and suffering. (Ps 37:9,11,29)
Wars have been given names to identify which is which. For an ex. WW II was the name given to the war fought 1914-18. Then there's Korean war, Vietnam war etc)
Armageddon is Gods war to end wickedness.

There is, it sure seems, a nuclear war in the future. Probably that could be called "Armageddon" though that is just the name of the place where the battle will occur.
If the Battle of Armageddon is yet in the future, then it is approaching. It might be a week in the future, it might be 10,000 years in the future ... but since the future is approaching, therefore it also is approaching.

Jesus and his apostles made MANY prophecies concerning the Armageddon. Christians would have you believe that it shall come as “a thief in the night”. Yet, the Bible is rather clear concerning when it would happen. Matter of fact, the Bible consistently said it would follow soon after Jesus’ death. When you point out such verses to Christians they will try to weasel it out of it by saying Christ was talking about his “future” apostles versus the ones he was directly speaking to. All it takes is a close examinations of the pronouns used in order to see that Christ truly did believe the end times would have happened nearly 2,000 years ago. Keep in mind that the Bible claims it is “fit for reproof’ and Christianity “lives and dies on the resurrection and end times”. If we are to believe these verses and accept that the end time prophecies failed then surely the whole book is invalid.

Mattew, chapter 24, is called, The Great (Eschatological Discourse) The three questions that set up the discourse are:
1. When will these things be?
2. What will be the sign of Your coming?
3. And the end of the age (translations vary) end of the world/conclusion of this system of things?
They might of well asked:
Untill When?
The Times?
The Judgment?
And Victory?
Jesus answered them: Many will come in My name:
With these six words, Jesus, set off the "Spiritual Arms Race.
This entails all of Christianity.
Now the Bible is pretty well available, or parts there-of, in every language, tongue, and nation.
The world is fully Armed, with its own copy!
The Period of Grace is Over.

I don't know about Armageddon, but I do believe the U.S.A is in for dark times ahead, with terrorist attacks and civil unrest due to appeasement that will occur that will embolden all the Mideast against us. Europe has all ready started to turn into a bunch of lapdogs with the peace at all costs attitude, not to mention the cowards that populate the Democratic party in the U.S.
The Knights Templar had it right during the crusades, put them all to the sward. that will be the only way to stop them.

I think so, yes. It is only a matter of time until some rich arab gets disgusted and decides to send a nuclear bomb to the USA.
blows up some major city. the present administraton would over react and completely obliterate the gulf area and then russia fearful world get involved and we would face what the bible calls the great tribulation described in Matthew 24:21,22
But it also said that some would be saved. It would appear to be the end of the world but some would survive.

I believe it is true, and yes it is described in the book of Revelations. Also, the sign that is given to us is that the people get worst and worst every minute and that more world problems get bigger. Though, many people don't really care about it so they ignore it.
