I would like to know that Muslims in America are not hoping to take my government, my mind and inevetably my life, but with all the anti-american sentiment in the rest of the world, it is especially hard for me to trust them. Sept.11th was carried out by Muslims who had settled in the US. I should not allow prejudice to be a part of my association and yet I am lead to believe that Muslims want me to drop my prejudices so that they can use our laws to take away my freedom. I am very confused. I am also being straight and honest but trying not to be hateful.

Primarily, I'd like to say that I have no intention of insulting you or hurting your feelings; since you're evidently a Muslim living in a non-Islamic Country.
To say that Islam represents Peace and Unity is wrong because the only Peace and Unity it offers is that everyone joins them in that delusion, I'm sorry but that's the kindest word I could find, or die!
Tristan has already given you the quotations from the Koran which clarify the stance of Islam. It's anything but Peace and Unity, that you speak of. It's intolerance and bigotry!
Muslims like to say that they are being attacked and discriminated against at the drop of a hat. If this is true, then why are they not moving to the Islamic Countries like Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Kuwait, Malaysia and the Emirates where there are hordes of Hindus and Christians working and doing business there because of lack of Muslim labor and investments? Why do they prefer the non-Islamic Country where they are "discriminated" against? Let's take the European, British and American Muslims. Why are they not going to the Middle East and East, while the Arabs need to build special cantonments where we White people can have our pork and wine and Church, because these were the conditions we laid down on them to go there?
Any and every Muslim I've asked this question to has avoided answering it; because they don't want to say the Truth, that they are afraid to go there where they will have no special rights that they enjoy here.
And, when that's the case, why don't your people adapt to our ways and live in harmony with your neighbors? You don't do that, either.
You want to have your burqa [the head to toe gown and veil], you want us to stop saying "God" and "Christmas" because it offends you, you want your Mosques to be allowed to disturb our peace by using megaphones and loudspeakers to call your prayers and say them 5 times a day, you want to build your ghettos and chase out the locals there, you want us to to treat you with respect when you insult us. How can you expect us to do that?
In every rally that you have, your Muslims call for the killing and beheading of the local people who gave you refuge!? And, you call it the "Religion of Peace and Unity"?
It's a pity, but, your people are forcing all of us to consider the option of sending all of you back to those Countries where you came from. That's the Truth.
Merry Christmas!!!!
God Bless America!!!
Edit,
aali Harith is another example of the Muslim behavior here and we're going to see a lot more come in.
Tritan's more human than you'll ever be, aali.
And as for people going to Islam, you get wide publicity on a couple of people doing that; but do you see the hundreds of of thousands who are leaving Islam?
No!
Because the murtad fitri and the murtad milli [those who want to convert out of Islam]are condemned to death by the Shari'at Law!? So much for the "Peace and Unity" of Islam!?
Do you want to see Testimonials about this?
Try :http://www.faithfreedom.org/testimonials.htm
See for yourself what Islam's all about. There are a lot of murtad fitris there.

Most of the main religions make God into our human image: a god that has very conditional love, has our concepts of 'justice', rewards and punishes, sends people to heaven and hell based on what they deserve, etc. This is the same way humans behave. When someone comes and says that God is unconditional love, we get ANGRY and change the message and viciously attack the messenger. Jews/early christians did this with Jesus' message (and they continue to do so). Muslims do this with Rumi's message (Rumi was a Muslim Sufi). The images of God in the bible and koran are equally false; Rumi tries to tell us about the unconditional love of god but we want to stay with the concept of some people going to heaven and others going to hell. There's NO peace that can EVER result from that concept, regardless of how many ways we try to present it.

I am reminded of 9/11 and the tons of people who came to islam after it because they had investigated it. I thought it was really great. :)
Tristan - you are a typical propagandist type person. It's really sad to see such a display of ignorance and hatred from another human being. You are human right?
