What I do know is that each of our souls has the capacity to distinguish between right and wrong, and that the meanings of “right” and “wrong” are subject to infinite conditions only God is capable of sorting out.

You see, Islam didn't spread in this country through the sword. It was only the selfless and sword-less sufis and dervishes who went door to door to spread Islam's message of peace and equality among the poor and low caste Hindus. The lords and kings from Iran and Arabia conquered the land, but not the hearts of the people. It was the half naked fakirs who won their hearts. Only then the people embraced Islam. You cannot make Islam flourish with politics and force. It is only by disseminating ilm that Islam will prosper.

Obviously the poor guy was brainwashed because that isn't what islam about at all. In fact the Greater Jihad is within one's self. The Lesser jihad is on the battlefield - not in a shopping mall. This guy is really messed up and makes us all look bad. I can't stand people like this.

Keep on being thoughtful and shocked! If Christians were that murderous, at any time and for any reason, you'd be taking the next plane out of here (unless, of course, you thought Christians rigged the plane for destruction). In other words, there is no fear of Christians, as you might think! (P.S.: the Oklahoma bomber was NOT Christian!)

There are a lot of extreme fanatics who use religion to justify their own evil actions. A true Muslim does not condone this terrorism. I am a Christian and I condemn abortion, but I also condemn the actions of those extreme fanatics who kill others and blow up buildings in the name of christianity.

I am not saying he is correct, in fact I condem his actions.

The reason

Anger and a misguided belief that he was striking a blow against the United States in a holy war.

Mental instability

A victim of terribly misguided religous teachings

Just another sick person who was incapable of straight thinking and proved it.

This is something I dont understand and probably never will but if they continue this practice and don't get saved, they will be like the rich man who died and in Hell he opened his eyes and begged Abraham to send lazarus to wet his lips. The story goes on but back to your question, I simply dont know the answer.

Think about it-why would anyone in the USA want to convert to Islam.

Probably an extremist or religious fanatic. You'll find them everywhere. It doens't necessarily correlate with the fact that he's Muslim.

I don't know. Does it say in the Quran to blow up shopping malls? Maybe he went to a fake Muslim site that you started.
