For a unique Irish experience, visit west Cork. I'm a native Dubliner myself but we had a fantastic time there. I have written a website with a section on he amazing cable car at Dursey - you're most welcome to check it. It's a five day tour by car - have a read and look at the beautiful pictures, even if you're not going to W Cork.

Have a great time,

Peter

Hi I visit Ireland once a year and I spend at least 6 months out of the year are you going alone without joining a tour group? How many of you are going? One of the best places to start is county clare a lot to see and very easy to get around. Dublin is a good party place, Galway is for the younger set too. If you like outdoors County Clare and County Kerry have hiking tours that are fantastic. Also up north like to Giants Causeway or some of the Aran Islands are fantastic. Bed and Breakfasts are quaint. But you cant stay in there and sleep in but the hotels and guesthouses you can. All hotels and bed and breakfasts include a full irish breakfast in the cost of room and it is huge. The cost of airfare is higher in the summertime June to October, St Patricks Day is very high. Good weather begins around April gets great in June.

We just went to Ireland over the 16 November for 10 days. One of the gals on our trip was into Geochaching, and because of that we got to see a few really out of the way ruins of Abby's cemetaries etc. I suggest checking out the geocaching site before you go if you really want to get to some hidden gems.

Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-rede rope bridge in County Antrim. While you're up there, do the Bushmill's tour. Wow!
