no, I pray in my spirit once a day all day long.
God knows your thoughts, and thinking prayerful thought is praying.

Pray at the mosque.
By praying at he mosque you will regularly force yourself to start praying. Its always better to pray with a group too, it strentghens ur faith. Eventually you will be concious of the prayer times and start praying on your own.
some things i also do is
1. Keep 2 alarms for Fajar
One will wake you up (and u'll probably turn it off) and the second will remind you to pray.
Zhur - Pray right after school
Asr - After praying Zhur check the time of Asr and keep it in mind. This is the only way i remember tihs.
Maghrib - Look outside right when the sun starts setting get ready to pray.
Isha - This one is easy, just pray this before you go to sleep.
Also there is a computer program I think called Athan 5.0 which plays the Athan on your computer when its time to pray.

It doesn't matter how many times a day you pray. It's not a competition. You should do it any time you feel the need (when you need help, courage and to thank God for everything he does for you).

when do you work and make a living when your on your knees five times a day praying. thats why you have no place in the western world. go back to saudi arabia and pray all you want. we work for a living here. we dont have to let the whole world know when we pray and we dont need to display it. we dont need to show it off.

What tips do you need? We pray this way because we were told to. Simple. Why is it so difficult to understand this concept? The Bible also mentions facts about people praying in this fashion, including Jesus himself. A Muslim submits to God and this is but one way we worship Him.
Abdallah if you are finding it difficult to maintain your prayers the best thing to do is read Quran, read Seerah, read read read.... it helps you gain closeness. Not to mention that you can talk to God whenever you want in your dua. Go to Him with your fears, your concerns, your love, your tears....He is the only one who is truly there for you.

I pray way more than that! I pray all day! you don't have to get down on your knees.you can pray whenver and however you want to.
