I am in seventh-grade, and I am totally stressed out. I have tons of homework, too many people seem to like me, my friends fall for the most idiot of guys, I seem to know too many people, and I simply hate sports, and yet it is all around me.

First- take a deep breath. Then, you need to set priorities in your life. What's the most important to you? Take care of that first every day (example: Homework before calling your friends). That way, if something happens later on, you've gotten the important things already taken care of. With a LOT of homework- take care of the one you hate the most first. That way, the others will seem not so bad in comparison. Take breaks, but be sure to return to your work, and try not to get distracted.

Second- Learn to say "no." It's hard to turn down people who want your attention all the time, but you need to watch out for yourself and your health (stress is unhealthy!) first.

Third- The best you can do for your friends is to give them your honest opinion (and at the same time, reassure them that you don't think THEY are the losers- just the guys). If they're true friends, they won't hate you for being concerned about them.

Fourth- I hate sports too. If people insist on talking about it, politely smile and nod. If your boyfriend insists on talking about it, humor him (just a little bit) and ask him to teach you about some of it. He'll enjoy teaching you something, and maybe if you understand it a little more, you might not hate it so much.

Remember to get plenty of sleep- you're growing a lot at this age- and don't let things get you down!

Best of luck!

First of all homework isnt always a bad thing... now u will hate it but when u are older u WILL appreciate it trust me and besides u grow a little more every time.

Too many ppl like u hey? well thats supposed to be a good thing but u can tell them to leave u alone and u dont want to be bugged by them

and if ur friends are dating idiots soo what? let them learn from it u cant be mad at ur friends for likeing other ppl

If u know too many ppl why is that a bad thing? i know a lot of ppl i aint complaining.

And sports! they are a great way to get out and have fun to avoid being a bad person and getting into pure pressure. I play soccer and i love it.. try a sport and i suggest soccer!

So honey chill ur young enjoy life for what it is... get out and enjoy the world before things really do get stressful
hope this helps
Erin.

Do you like to swim? If there is a inground pool around you should go take a swim. Even though you are only in seventh grade I am sure that you do get a little stressed. Anyway, I love to go for a swim and it always helped me when I didn't have 3 boys to take care of. Now I can't find the time, but it did help me. Good Luck!!

Guys likin ya? I DONT HEAR A PROBLEM!!! You'll learn to appreciate that when you get older.

Friends like dumb guys? ...well thats probably gonna keep happening, unless they like me or something.
People know you? YOUR POPULAR LIVE IT UP!! It aint my fault you loose and everybody knows yo business.
Hate sports? ...I still don't see what that has to do with anything.

I'm not tryin 2 sound mean, just havin fun wicha thatz all. I realize that every one needs encouragement and relief 4rm their problems no matter how old they are.

Hope you got a laugh out of this, cuz I did.

Take a chill pill. 7th graders think they are "all that." Wait about 5 years when you have a job, school, friends, family, holidays, college applications, etc. Then you'll be asking the same question. Enjoy your freedom while you have it, and trust me.. you have it. You just don't see it.
