The bible just says "an angel of the Lord"

Hagar had 3 strikes against her; she was a woman, a foreigner, and a servant. Yet God cared for Hagar and saved her from mdeath in the desert. The Lord himself Apparently visited Hagar (Ge 16:13) and asked her two questions; Where are you coming from? And where are you going (Ge 16:8) Like Hagar, we usually know the answer to the first question but have no idea about the second. The Lord provided her with direction - perhaps not what Hagar desired to hear - and she obeyed. In turn, God blesses her with the promise of a strong and free son, who will not have a trouble-free life. But Hagar was blessed in an even greater way; She was the first woman in Scripture, aside from Eve, who sees the Lord himself and receives a promise of blessing and protection directly from him.

I hope this answered your question
