If you are in the deficit of 500 calories per day, then every week you will shed one pound. If this continues, you will have lost 30 pounds in 30 weeks. If you expend 3500 calories a day, then eat in such a way that the total calorie intake is 3000.Or you can increase your physical activities so as to deplete in that proportion. A combination of physical exercise and low calorie intake will help keep you in shape and lose weight.

if you work out every day for about a half hour to an hour and do good dieting skills like make sure you eat lots of protein and small amounts of carbs like and you should most lickly eat carbs before you workout and protien more after the workout if you keep that up you should be able to loose anywhere from 2 pounds to 6 pounds a week if your doing it healthy
you also should refrain to eating less or not eating at all b/c alot of people think that that makes you loose wieght but it really doesnt and it only does over extended periods of time like not eating for 7 days or so and also when you eat agian it will make you end up gaining the wieght back very fast b/c 7ur body will take the food in quickly and stire it

This all depends on if you use both diet and exercise to accomplish this. A slower weight loss of 1 to 2 lbs pr week is healthy. Eat right and exercise 30 mins 5-6x per week and you will accomplish your goals. If you haven't been active it will take time to get to brisk walking or jogging, even fast swimming is an excellent choice. Lifting weights helps build muscle will will give more definition and help with weight loss.

It all depends on how you do it and how hard you work. However, its healthy (and realistic) to expect to lose 2 lbs per week. So between 3-4 months.
