That's just one religion. Two if you want to throw in Islam, since they're basically the same. And both based on fear and intolerance. Stay the hell away from those. I've always thought that there was something wrong with any woman who could follow a religion that subjugates her as those two do.
So search around and find a religion that doesn't offend you.
Pagans revere women. There are many Pagan sects in which it is the woman who is sacred and divine.

Did your boyfriend break up with you or something? I happen to be a "Man". I do not seek to "dominate" or dictate some male defined "religion" on you. Whether you have a religion, faith, or worldview aside, nature has certain laws. In some species males dominate and in others female. With us, males generally dominate. This does not mean they are superior, more intellegent, or more important than females. This means males tend to dominate.
If you persist that "Religion" is some male invented vehicle for rule over women, I propose you do the following social experiment:
Find 2 married couples, one obviously female dominated, and the other Biblically based on Male dominated (but loving as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her...willing to die for her) and in which the female is completely submissive to the domination of the male (as the church to Christ).
Spend time with both families and see which seems to be truely happy.
You will find that Christian (truely Christian) based families are much happier. Whether you choose to believe it or not, you will not be happy with a man unless he loves you as stated above, and he will not be happy loving you if you try to dominate over him.
My wife and I use to be constantly struggling over our independence of each other. We nearly got divorced. We were miserable. It is when we truley put the principles of the Bible into action that it worked. Niether of us have ever been happier.
This does not mean that she is passive or weak. She is confident and strong. We fit together much better now than we did before.
It's really very simple. Men feel a need to be a protector and provider for their families.
Women feel a need to support and be caretakers of their families. Both are dependent on each other in a manner that "you complete me" becomes a reality. Dominating is not really the right word, that suggests having dominion over, but you know what I mean.
If that is not proof enough for you, I suggest you convince all the women of the world that Religion is a tool used by men to rule over them. Tell them to quit "bearing all the children of the world" and see what happens.
You should aslo know that, despite claims, there has never been a female dominated society in the history of the entire world. This is not merely religious, this is simple fact.
Goodluck with trying to pawn your doubts of faith off on those evil men, God knows we deserve it having no hope and all.
God Bless

Ancient civilizations were actually matriarchal in nature due to our childbearing gifts, but eventually men started taking over with fear-based domination through "religion".
Read Conversations with God (Book 2 I believe) and Sylvia Browne for more theories on feminine societies and deities. Interesting stuff.

Actually that's a result of a few idiots in the last couple centuries, prior to that it wasn't quite as bad.
The gnostics for instance believed in the sacred feminine, before the catholics wiped them off the face of the earth that is.

Woman, do you know it is the Apostle Paul who spoke one of the most liberating statements that can be found in ancient texts when he said : There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28)

1. It takes two to tango for procreation. If you can do it without man's donation, feel free to try.
2. If you ladies want to run the world, please do so. I would rather watch football anyway.
3. If you want a spiritual answer, the Word says about a spiritual covering over the woman. If man isn't around, who will be their spiritual covering?

I dunno, but if you considered Paganism to be a religion, then your statement is inaccurate as the female role is just as important as the male role in many practices and beliefs in many forms of Paganism.

It hasn't all been a piece of cake taking care of wives and children. Men go to war and die, work until they drop in coal mines and on fishing boats at sea. Beat their selves to death in trucks taking stuff across the country so women have fresh produce and nice clothes. When a women gets cold who builds a fire and goes out in the cold to get wood? Then he says to her "honey are you warm." Of course she is, she doesn't go out in the snow for wood. Men work until they drop in their tracks.
Women out live them, because they work men to death.
Women say, "do I want to persue a carreer? or do I want to stay home." Men don't get that option! They know from the cradle to the grave they are going to work. They are the providers.
Women are liberated they just don't know it. Men love them, work their self to death for them. Become captains of industry, get ulcers and fight capitalism to get a decent living.
While women sit home and watch soap operas.
Men working his self to death to pay bills and she says, "I want another babie" He says "I can't afford the ones we got already."
Now who gets what? Men do have a curse on them.
God told Adam: Because you listened to your wifes voice and took to eating from the tree concerning which I gave you this command, you must not eat from it cursed is the ground on your account. In pain you will eat its produce all the days of your life.
and thorns and thissles it will grow for you. In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground for out of it you were taken, for dust you are and to dust you will return.
The sad thing is he didn't do it first she enticed him.
Women can get men to do anything they want. Remember she was the only women on earth. He had to keep her happy and look at what she got him into.
Hay, you quoted scriptures. Women bless there little hearts are man's worst enemy and we can't live with out them.
that in its self is a curse.
