My 35 year old brother-in-law has been on the streets of L.A. for the past 2 years , has been busted several times by the LAPD for possesion of narcotics but they keep letting him out before my wife's family has a chance to talk to him and reason with him to come home. They don't have loads of money, he's an adult and has made his choices but we don't want him winding up dead... He has been reported as a missing person but nothing has come back...Any resources in the Los Angeles area that will help find him would be GREATLY appreciated !!!
Cheers !

My heart goes out to you and your family. You could call and speak to the LA County Sheriff's office about this situation. Also, check with Human Services, as they may have info on him if he is receiving food stamps. Try Salvation Army, and ask them; also ask if they know of other shelters in the area where he may stay.

Best wishes and I hope you find your brother-in-law soon.

Have you considered getting copies of the police reports to see where he was picked up? These may be frequent hangouts for him.

Go look for him yourself. It's free.
