I live in california and am looking for groups concerned about environmental and social issues. where should I go to find groups in my area?

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/teens4difference/ - this isn't in california or anything. But, it kinda is a yahoo group and it deals with both environmental and social issues by spreading awareness... good luck

Go on-line and search. That's the easiest way. If you want more human contact, go to the local library or your city's visitor's center. They usually have pretty info and point you in the right direction.

Check at your local college; they're rife with environmentalists. Or put a Greenpeace sticker on your car and see who says hello.
