I have some movies on my computer that are in avi format. i want to burn them to a dvd. most converters i used didnt work. can i convert and burn a dvd through windows media?

I do not think so. Try using Nero. U can get a free trial on nero.com.

No you can't burn dvd's thru wmp.It only doe's cd's.You have a burner get this free. www.ripit4me.com also www.dvddecrypter.com, They do everything beleive me.All you do is put dvd movie in burner,click open ripit4me.It starts from there and does about it all.You click burn movie only,then when it's done running to files tells you to put in blank dvd and your almost done.Fast and easy.

I just found tonight a program called any-video-converter that did for free what many other paid programs could not in regards to converting a file. Give them a try. http://www.any-video-converter.com/
