If you are wanting lose weight you need to use more energy then you take in. Or expend more calories then you eat. The best way to use energy is to do something active like running, biking, swimming, walking, or playing an active sport. If you walk a mile your burning around 100 calories depending on your weight and intensity. The recommended minimum for cardiovascular health is 3 times a week for 30. If you want to lose weight you should bump that up to 4 times a week 45-60 minutes or more.
To get toned it's all about the amount of body fat you have on top of your muscles. So to show off those guns you need to have a low body fat percentage. Resistance exercises can aid in losing weight, and it's good for your joints and bones to do them. It's recommended to hit the weights twice a week. But to see changes faster you can do more. To gain size and strength you should do high weight and low reps. To get toned tight, and gain endurance you should do low weight high reps.
Nutrition is a factor that shouldn't be overlooked. Your body needs all the vitamins and minerals to function at its peak. Try to have Balance, Variety, and Moderation with every meal. Keep empty calories(little of no nutritional value) to a minimum. Empty calories are things like Soda, Candy, and Fast Food.
The FIT principle(Frequency, Intensity, and Time) is important to follow to see gains. Workout often, get out of your comfort zone, and you maintain your workout for an extended time. Good luck to you and if you have any questions email me at dcoxmail@yahoo.com

Well if you arer exercising you have to eat right and I will tell you this and it is the truth. There is no diet out there that will make anyone skinny. All you have to do is just eat right and not over eat. You have to control what you eat all the time. Just make sure that you don't over eat. You can work out everyday, but just don't over do it. An hour a day is fine to do. Don't starve yourself just to see results. It really doesn't matter if you are skinny as long as you are healthy everything is good. Even if you work out 2 times a week, but you walk everyday at least it is something and it isn't anything. I work out 3 times a week and walk the rest of the week and I am at a reasonable weight. losing weight or getting in shape is not an easy thing and no one says it is easy.

If you may have obstacle gaining weight, you're on the whole proper in that you just are not getting adequate meals. Not simply protein and carbs--however energy interval--even though it's pleasant if they're from well protein assets alternatively than top carb /sugar, and many others. You would develop your movements to doing pushups, crunches, and squats in order that you quilt all of the primary muscular tissues. And then make certain you devour relatively a couple of energy. You can google "calorie calculator" to get an estimate of your frame's day-to-day calorie requirement. Then should you desire to acquire muscle, you'll be able to have got to upload extra energy than that in your nutrition.

hell I work out every day of the week when I'm healthy (literally, unless I have a migraine or stomach flu, I'm there every single day). And I never get burned out. Just be sure you get the nutrition aspect for your specific goal - that's what held me back for 2 years, even though I trained like a freak. Now I grow like one.
Good luck.
