i need help please!?

Question

im 13 years old and i woke up this morning with a fever and i was in a lot of pain. i had trouble sleeping for the past couple of nights too and have felt very tired and weak all day. mom or dad wont take me to the doctor and say im fine because we dont have any money because my dad lost his job. i also found this bump under my arm. it was like red and swollen looking and kind of looks blue or purple around it? i tried to show my parents but they dont care. they wont let me go to the doctor or wont let any friends or family take me. will i be okay if i dont go or will this go away by itself? im really scared and hope its nothing serious but it could be so thats why im worried. somebody please help me!

my parents still wont let me go anywhere! i also have this small red rash on my arm with like red dots that i just now noticed. i showed them and they just told me to put lotion on it. what do i do??

krbrown1 yes actually last week we went camping over the weekend, why? does that have something to do with whatevers wrong with me?

Okay, this sounds like it might be a glandular problem. You really do need to be seen by a medical professional, so since your folks won't take you to the doctor, try to get some rest during the weekend. Drink plenty of water, be sure you eat balanced meals, and then on Monday when you go to school, ask to see the school nurse. Tell her what you've told us and ask her to lend her support by talking with your parents. If you have school insurance, this may help with expenses.

Without seeing it, and since we're not professionals, we can't really tell you what it is or what to expect.

Have you been out in a woody area in the last month?

your symptoms sound as if you were bitten by a tick. Tick bites depending on which one can cause lyme disease or rocky mountain spotted fever. go to mayoclinic.com or just google those diseases and see if you have any other symptoms. If you do, you need to show this to your parents.

if you have a familly physician who youve seen as a small child Id go see them. Or call your school and speak to the nurse if there is one or perhaps a counsiller there could guide you in the right direction. I would definitely get someone to check you out if your not feeling any better. It cant cost that much, that your health comes 2nd. goodluck kiddo.

Someone should take you to a hospital ER. You'll have to wait your turn, but the care and treatment will be free. Hospitals cannot turn away emergency patients who come in through the ER.

If you could get your parents 2 take you to wal-mart or target if it has a pharmacy you could talk to the pharmacy people, usually they are glad 2 help.

Go see the school nurse if you have one. If not, talks to your teacher about it because they can give you advise on what to do. Like others have said, they can take you to the free clinic.

the fever and pain sounds like the flu. the rash could be strep throat. do you have white stuff on your tonsils? If so thats strep throat.

You need this looked at by a doctor. It may only be an abscess that needs to be lanced, it will drain and with antibiotics it will clear up.

first calm down then please go to a pharmacy near by and show them it and they will describe some medicine for u trust me it will for or just get a thing odf medicine in a tube and it is 4 all of that
