i m gonna submit it to the insurance ,

the car for my relative, we were living in same house but now are not. i have full driver lisence,

i m not insured on another car

there is minor damage apx 2000

my question is how is gonna effect my first degree relative
and what about the primum

Insurance follows the vehicle, not the driver. If you were driving with permission, you are covered under the insurance for the vehicle, which will pay for any damage to other vehicles since you say you are at fault.

Your relative will have a reported accident, which could raise the rates on the insurance.

Do you have ANY auto insurance? Usually that insurance follows you no matter which car you drive. If you don't have insurance, you might be in some trouble. Did your relative give you permission to drive his car? If you have no auto insurance, his auto insurance will apply. Depending on your relative's driving and accident claim record and which insurance company this is, there may be no increase in his premium, OR it might increase for maybe three years. His agent will know for sure.
