I have limewire too its great but as you said its slow sometimes.The way i fixed it was by picking the diffrent downloads of the stuff you want to download. You see some hostsare very slow,so just pick another download.it always works,trust me.

well the more files u add the slower ur pc is gonna be so u have to get rid of sum of them and put them on a cd or an external harddrive if still slow than u may have a virus

only download files from people with cable or T1/T3 internet. Dont download the ones that say modem.
