yea, it is one of the things that bothers me the most about Christians. As an atheist I say "I do not believe in God". I do not say, "I know God doesn't exist". I at least respect the possibility that I might be wrong. Nothing ticks me off more than people who say "Jesus WAS the son of God". ""Jesus is coming back soon". Instead of saying what is true (that this is just what they believe), they put their ideas into self-righteous statements that are just completely ridiculous and not possibly the facts that they present them as. It is as if they are afraid to admit that their ideas are just that, ideas

IIf were walking next to a cliff and tripped, and someone grabbed me before I fell off the cliff, they would have "saved" me from falling and smashing at the bottom. I could say that person "saved" me and that I was saved. Now if I started ignoring the danger of walking by the cliff and did it again, I might fall, but at either rate that does not prevent me from being "saved" the first time. I just didn't stay in the safety of being saved.

God said "I will never forsake you". He meant it. You can quit believing that you are saved, but God won't. He cannot forsake you because He said He wouldn't, and God does not lie. Therefore once I am "saved", I am "saved" for eternity.

The word saved many times translated in Greek is "Sozo" which means;

deliverance
protections
healing

So, yes a true Christian is Saved!

Well, many christians, like myself, believe in something called "eternal security", which means once you truly become a born again believer, that nothing can take you from the Lord's hands. So I do have expectations. I'm not afraid to with a loving God like Jesus.

Because of the grace of God, not for anything I have done, but what Jesus did for me on the cross. I am saved and past having doubt. He can do the same for you, what a Christmas present!

Because once we are born of God, we are children of the living God, inheriting eternal life with our heavenly Father. I believe Gods promises to us in His Word.

As children of God, God disciplines us today. At the first resurrection we will be raised up an everlasting body, and judgment day will be rewards. Because we are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. The 2nd death has no authority over us.

The rest of the dead will be raised up and stand before God at the last resurrection, the Great White Throne Judgment and will be judged according to their works (conscience & land laws). Those whose names are not found in the books of life will be thrown into the lake of fire, the 2nd death.

If Christ is not our saviour then we are all equally dead in our sins..and we all perish together therfore if we are disapointed you will share our grief as we are all vessels created for distruction. Praise be to God that he came to save those who accept the atonement of Jesus Christ.
