I'm not sure, but it seems you're asking how many Scientologists there are. The church has claimed as many as 8 million members, but the 2000 census indicated only 55,000 Americans (more or less) listing Scientology as their religion. The Church of Scientology refuses to disclose its actual membership rolls in any fashion, so there is no way to independently verify membership.

If you're asking how many people 'support' Scientology in some more indefinite fashion, there's no way to know for certain - especially without some criterion to define 'support.'

Hope that helps.

It is easy to sell people who are looking for it: "A Piece of Blue Sky"

Usually, such people believe if someone is famous has this belief, then it must be a force for good, which I personally find to be nothing more than "Star following".

I've investigated it, and could find no rational reasons to find this faith credible. Indeed, when asked where he got some of his medical ideas, he said he 'picked it up during his life' of Roman times. Let's look at that logically.

Does that prove that it is a sound medical practice? No. The Romans had many advances in medicine, but it is understood that the application of some cures, and some beliefs were superstitious at best, and downright hazardous at worst.
