do you know what? we are all dying, there is no way out of this life, so my advise is live each day as if it is your last, that way family will still go through pain, but at least they will know that you loved them and isn't that what it is all about. as for telling them you can not say I will be dead in 6 months as you may be hit by a bus on the way home in 2 hours, so do not tell them for as Long as possible

Tell them. You may need help along the way and they will be more understanding towards your needs. It will also make them aware of how much they love you and should cherish every minute they spend with you. Family go through both good and bad together and this is the time when you need to be closer.

I would tell them cause if they know you are dying they would try to spend time with you as long as they can.But if you don't tell them they go to a lot of pain when they found out you died. You should give them a warning or else they gonna be hurt 100 times more.

I would tell them because then we could help each other through it. I'm very close to my family and if I didn't tell them I'm sure they'd notice and not understand the things I was going through. Plus it's not really fair to burden them with details that can be made in advanced. It will give them and you time to cherish...

If someone in my family were dying I'd want to know so I could tell them how much I care & spend as much time with them as I could. So, I would tell my family if it was me.

I would tell them so they will be prepared for it, and this might give us time to spend more with each other. And maybe rob a few banks, so my children will have some money for the future. But of course with a mask so they don't take the money away.

i would for sure tell my family so u they could get a chance to say their goodbyes and to have the best of times before i was gone. Its better for them to suffer for a while and be with you and have the best of the times that they can rather than not gettin time to be with your family wen ur never going to have a chance again

I think I would tell them, just so they knew, and then I would go on and try to enjoy the moments I have with them. I think that way they are prepared for your death & it also opens a way to create wonderful memories for them.

Either way they will go through pain.. I think if you were dying and you told your family it may not hit as hard as it would if they found you dead .
