Anyone who says just eat a lot of protein is retarded. You need about 1 g protein per pound of bodyweight when building, but you also need to get between 50-100g of complex carbohydrates about 5-6 times per day for optimum results. Spread the protein out over as many meals as possible, work out with free weights with compound moves (most importantly do squats and benchpress and deadlifts for mass), and get at least a multivitamin every day. Take it after your workout or in the morning.
