Doesn't have to be overnight, I understand that. But I'm just spinning my wheels here on what to do. I used to have INCREDIBLY thick hair, that was when I wore braids day in and day out. I even slept in braids. But now as I start to wear low ponytails, the volume seems to be getting normal again.
What shampoo should I use? What conditioner? My hair type is very oily, is this good?

I hope I didn't confuse anybody, but...I'm still pretty young. No hair falling yet, just thin hair that needs to be thickened. ^_^;;;

Trust me, thick hair stinks! I have it and it takes FOREVER to blowdry so I have to take a shower at night so I'm not stressed in the morning. (about showering and blowdrying and getting ready to go.....) I use Herbal Essences Shampoo & Conditioner (seperate products) If you still want it. Good luck!

I have been taking hair supplements for the past 3 years and here is what I have found.
ProCaps labs makes a great supplement called "Hair Skin and Nails" formula, here is the link for that
http://www.procapslabs.com/pcl/pages/pro...
This is in capsule form and easy to swallow. This company, ProCaps labs is also extremely reputable and carries pure and effective products.
I took GNC's Nourishair for four months, and supplemented it with extra Biotin tablets daily due to its low Biotin content. I took 2500 micrograms extra Biotin with the GNC pills.
The Procaps hair vites have 2500 micrograms of Biotin in them, and don't really require extra Biotin be taken, but I do take an additional 2500 micrograms of Biotin for a daily total of 5000 micrograms of Biotin.
My hair is growing in thick and dark and quite quickly. My hair used to be very slow growing, but all of these supplements have really made a difference.
The only way to really change the health of your hair is by taking supplements that work internally on the follicle where hair is made, any shampoos or oils or other topically applied things do nothing to change hair's structure, that can only happen with systemically provided support, which means supplements that you take internally.. Keep in mind, regardless of how many or how much you take of any supplement, hair is never going to grow at a "Jack and the beanstalk" type of rate, the most you can hope for is to improve the strength and health of each hair follicle and to see an incremental increase in the rate of its growth

For starters, you will in all probability prefer to purchase Mane n' Tail shampoo and conditioner. They value around $5 each and each at any drugstore, very final an prolonged time, and help your hair strengthen long, thick, and mushy. yet yet another ingredient to help alongside with your hair strengthen is to purchase Biotin (hair & nail strengthen pills). Biotin costs around $3 and you gets it at objective or in all probability any drugstore; it facilitates your hair strengthen quicker and makes it extra effective healthful. distinctive than that, determine to be eating healthful, workout consultation, eating a physically powerful style of water, and don't use a heat temperature on your hair- which will supply up your hair from becoming to be! choose that helped. :)

Oily hair can clump together, making it seem like you have less hair... so if that's a problem try a shampoo to help fight oily hair... Sunsilk's anti-oily one is cheap and it works...
But if your hair's oiliness is not much of a problem, there are many volumising shampoos and conditioners available. Or you can get a volumising spray.. I think PPS has a good one...

One thing you would do is go to a barber store and have them cut off hair from "underneath" in order that means your hair gets thinner, however then it would not seem like you simply chopped off hair to make it thinner. Its sorta like layering your hair from the backside. You could ask the man or woman who cuts your hair extra about it. My cousin had that finished and her hair's got beautiful thin,

If u werent born with it, ur not gonna have it unfortunately. But maybe u should try blow drying it and not flat ironing it afterwards and maybe it'll be a little more fuller.
