Yes it is wrong to put a rubber snake by a bird cage because the bird(s) will not know it is rubber. It is a good way to give the bird(s) a heart attack, and I think that anyone who deliberately puts something like that by animals just to freak them out that it is considered animal abuse and the person doing it should get in trouble and not be allowed to own anymore animals. How would you like something that freaked you out by you every day?

Yes because the bird doesn't know it is rubber. Birds are known for having heart attacks easily. and if you want to keep your bird in a nasty scared mood than do it but i have a bird she doesnt like it when our new puppy comes near the cage. Snakes are predators so they would be even more scared.

Most birds are afraid of snakes and it probably makes the bird very nervous...
I would not recomend doing it.

No,it keeps the bird from dozing off .Helps keep him alert and the food bill goes down
