I would take the dog to the vet as soon as you can it could be anything. Also find a breeder of labs and ask them what they would do.

Your friend should take the dog 2 a vet to have tests done so that the seizures can be controlled. I have seen all types of breeds have seizures and depending on their history and type of seizures they can live a normal life on medication. Good Luck and I hope it all works out.

Labs have been known to be prone to epilepsy, or so i was told by a vet. If your friends dog is having seizures, then they really need to get it to a vet to be checked out. They really should have done it after the first one, but if they really want to take care of their dog then they need to stop looking for answers online and start being proactive about their dogs health.

i have been told that it may be one thing that's in the breed but I would definitely take your dog to the vet. My parents had a lab that had seizures and was taken to the vet but had no health problems to cause them. To be safe, take your dog to the vet.

Truthfully..... The dog should have been taken to the vet after the first seizure. Take the dog to the vet. It really could be VERY serious!!!Not to scare you but it's possible it could be a brain tumor. I hope not.

Its not the breed but may be in her family blood line. Several things can cause seizures but it depends on several variables like age and health of the dog. Depends on how long they last and how she acts after wards too.

It sounds to me that a trip to your friends vet is in order for her dog. Good Luck.
