Anytime you get a questionable email, whether lotto winning, Bill Gates paying for email tracking, or whatever, check it out at snopes.com - the urban legend web site. They have listed thousands of phony (and some true) stories from email scams.

Just search their site using a few key words, & check the results. You'll find nearly every variation of every questionable email listed there.

This is a Internet scam out of Nigeria. I am a retired Police Officer that as a hobby investigates these scams and advise law enforcement agencies on Internet fraud. Please see my other posting on Free Lotto and the Australian Lottery on this site.

Everyone has. It is a scam. They will end up asking you to pay the taxes and then they will send the money. You will never hear from them again after paying the taxes.
