Telling someone you have a crush on them is a very trusting, painful thing to do - it takes someone very confident in themselves to do it.
By asking her straight out, you put her on the spot. Did you tell her "I really like you, I hope you say yes?" or did you say "Do you have a crush on me? Huh?"
She might be afraid you'd laugh in her face, or she might simply find the question rude and personal.
Of course, she simply might not be crushing on you, too!

You probably shouldn't just have asked her right off the bat whether she had a crush on you- moving on her like that probably made her uncomfortable. Get to know her, try to gain her trust. If she does, it will come out sooner or later. If not, then it's all good...at least you made another friend.

If you do...just shrug it off. Be yourself. Next time you talk to her flirt with her and tease her...make fun of her a bit. Flirting builds attraction and it sounds like this is what you want.

then just become friends with each other. crushes come and go so thats why they call it a crush. and just get over it because there are pleny of people who would like to be with u .

that what happen to me too when this boy said no to me, but i was not sad or mad because when i wannaly know the true i feel really happy because he told me the true and there is a bunch of cute boys out there is waiting for me and i think there is a bunch of girls is waiting for u out there.....

Do you think she's shy? Do you like her back? If you do, make it clear to her that you do. If she knows how you will treat her honest response, she will be more likely to open up and be frank with you.
