Beagles. I have two. They're more medium sized than small but I live in a condo and don't have any problems with their size versus being in a small-ish condo. They are hard to potty train and will follow their nose before they'll respond to a command from their human but they are the cheeriest, silliest, happy, most fun, social dog I've ever been around. I've had (or been around for long periods of time) Labs, Irish Setters, Goldens, mutts, Fox Terriers, Shiz-Tsu/Poodle mix, Bichons, German Shepards, Rottweilers, Weimaraners, Basenjis, just to name (quite) a few. None of them match the enthusiastic personality of the Beagle. I hope this helps.

Since it has to be small I'll chose the Basset Hound, Welsh Pembroke Corgi, Boston Terrier, or any type of Bulldog. Those are the only small dogs I like. My favorite dog in the world would have to be an English pointer! I have an adorable one named Pandora and she is the best dog in the world!!!!!!!! Second is Bloodhound and Great Danes. I love big dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a very gentle oikineese, but my daughter adopted a pikineese and we lost her to distemper after we all got soa attached to her. She is probably the favorite dog for me. If I were going to buy a dog, it would be a pikineese. (mispelled, i"m sure!)

You got a lot of rules about my favorite dog. I'm curious what ***** stands for.

Um, a small German Shepherd puppy? Small enough for ya?
