Im over weight. im 12 . i weigh ALOT more than the average 12 yr old. But some people say it doesnt show. okay truth is ..im 210 lbs. dont laugh. i cry when people call me chuby. I really need to know how to lose this weight. Im so insecure about it i wear baggy sweatshirts to hide it. And the funny thing is im active and in volleyball and i participate in gym and everything! Please help me.

Talk to your doctor and ask her for a diet plan. Are you tall? Maybe you are at a healthy weight.

It may be genetics. There might not be anything you can do except find people to be around that accept you for who you are and make you feel good about yourself. Try eating normally, make sure you get proper nutrition and continue exercising. Do the best you can and talk to your doctor, he might have some further and better advice for you.

Well,
I am a scientist. Don't go on a diet that says, "burn fat fast" or take pills. If you go belemick or anarestic, it actually trains your body to store fat. The thing that causes fat is excessive amounts of carbohydrates. With carbohydrates comes fat. I recommend the atkins diet. He has the only diet that eliminates fat off the body. All the other diets that eliminate fat fail to tell you that once you are off the diet, the fat only returns twice as fast because you are training your body once again. If you eliminate the carbohydrates that make fat, you train your body not to produce it. Actually you could eat tons of something with fat in it and it doesn't do anything, its the carbohydrates. Go to the local book store, Atkins has books out, it worked for my father, he lost 80 pounds. Hope this helps.

well if you are overweight and active then it is probably your eating habits. do you eat when you feel insecure? thats called emotional eating and NOT good at all... start cutting down on portions. eat only when you are hungry... trust me you feel powerful when you are full and you can say no to food!!!

ok why are you overweight. Is it when you feel bad, you eat? That is a vicious cycle and that is where it must stop, for you to begin losing weight.
