I go to a Catholic school, and I don't remember from where the exact context comes from, but if you are not a follower of Jesus Christ, you go to hell. Then, if people say that Jesus loves all races and religions equally, how can that be true?

Jesus died for all sinners, He didn't die for any religion. To go to heaven you must believe and trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for you. He died for your sins, He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. Believe and trust in that. He did it all. Religion is where you have to do something to please God. Grace is where God has done something for you and He offers it as a free gift. Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Its true that he loves all races equally. And, as some have pointed out, he is very merciful. But that doesn't mean that he's down with the various religions of the world. If that were the case, he wouldn't have bothered trying to get the Jews or the Gentiles to become his followers. We're under obligation to search out the TRUE religion, which can be identified...but a person has to first understand what they should be looking for (hint - major identifier at John 13:35).

Jesus loved--and still loves--all PEOPLE equally. That's not the same thing as loving all RELIGIONS equally. Jesus told us that He Himself is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that NO ONE can come to the Father, EXCEPT through Him. In other words, He is the ONLY way to God. I think it's pretty clear that Christ did NOT recognize other religions!

It's not that Jesus Christ loves all religions equally. Obviously, some teachings taught by many religions are true, and some are false. Jesus loves all people, regardless of what religion they are currently practicing.

I think you are remembering something wrong. I don't think "Religions" should be thrown in there. Jesus loves all people of all races and cultures equally. That does not mean he "loves" their religion that means them. You may love your children, but you don't always love what they do or what they believe.

So your question is based on false information. Whoever says that Jesus loves all religions is completely mistaken. So, no it is not true at all because it was never stated. You or someone who told you may have misinterpreted it, maybe someone thought that "tribe" or "race" meant religion too. That is obviously not true. Jesus or God loves people, not all that people do.

Jesus loves all people equally, but not all religions. There is only one true religion, and Christ hopes that everyone would choose to follow Him.

The first responder above is right in that we are all EQUAL in the eyes of God... For The Message brought by The Messenger, Yeshua Messiah/Jesus the Christ [PBUH], is that "God is Good and God is Merciful." Hallelujah!

That means that we are ALL Children of God provided we all FOLLOW THE LAW... And there is NO DISTINCTION mentioned whatsoever as to which "religion" or "church" you may happen to belong to.

The notion of EXCLUSIVITY [i.e., akin to belonging to a private Country Club] is an arrogant attitude that began during the rise of the Roman Catholic Church, which became sanctioned as the Official State Religion of Rome and the VAST Holy Roman Empire for millennia...

For many centuries, if you were were NOT A CATHOLIC, you were automatically deemed to be a "heretic", a "pagan", a "heathen", or an "infidel" which was reason enough to be executed or killed "in the name of [THEIR KIND of] God."

The same thing applied to their existing members who were "excommunicated"; or deemed to be "blasphemous" for asking questions about the practices of the Church; or who were [wrongfully] accused of being a "witch" or a "sorcerer."

Therefore, through the generations, it became quite a STIGMA for anyone, especially any CIVILIZED INDIVIDUAL who OPENLY professed of NOT BEING A CATHOLIC, since his or her days were readily numbered for execution.

When the Great Reformation and Protestantism took hold around the 15th-16th centuries AD, the newly founded churches similarly took the SAME IDEA from their original Indoctrinators, i.e., IF you don't accept their church's teachings and doctrines, then you AUTOMATICALLY GO TO HELL. That became quite an effective marketing tool in expanding their own assemblies as well.

And the same ideology still holds true today among so many of the diverse and different religious sects within Christendom, whose members are still being MISLED to believe that IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT ALL THEIR CHURCH'S TEACHINGS AND DOCTRINES, THEN YOU GO TO HELL!

That's where that originally came from...

Peace be with you.

The seven letters to the seven churches are prophetic of the coming church ages (see study below). In it is various opinions that Jesus has for the coming major religions. Most of it is not favorable due to misguided worship and attitudes of the heart.

However, God does not judge us according to our religion. He judges us individually by whether or not we accept His free gift of salvation through His Son. When Jesus died on the cross, He died for the sins of the entire world. So really, Jesus is holding his hand out to all drowning men. But if a man refuses to reach back, they are destined to perish.

Jesus loves all people and hates all false religions. He desires for all people to go to heaven and not go to hell. Jesus is the way.

God is not religious he is god. He loves every one.
There are many different religions but one God. Do you really think that just one religion has all the right answers. You might try doing research on different religions world wide. If you really look things over there are allot of religions who consider their bible sacred and true. They can not all be true. Many would die for words that are written on a paper handed down from hundreds of yeas ago with no real proof that each and every word is correct.
