i wouldent i would go to a salon...or a cosmetology school they can do it there and for a much cheaper price.....the reason i wouldent reccomend it because they need to put something on your hair called a "filler" and then color you hair back to a dark brown.....thats the best way to do it i think....were i go to school that is what we are trained to do and it always comes out really nice....

I would definitely go to a pro or a beauty school, but if you are insistent on doing it at home, make sure you condition it really well before you do it. Also, don't buy any ashy colors, serious no no. Buy something golden or warmed toned and don't darker. Buy 2 shades lighter cause you can always go darker, but if you get it too dark it will be very hard to get out. Good luck, please go somewhere though, it's a big change, you don't want to take any chances.

i would also have to agree. i would go to a stylist but if you cant afford or cant go for other reasons then heres some tips.
-make sure that you go by sections and dont just slop it where ever and mix it up
-when your doing a section make sure you go from root to tips and dont miss a spot.
-if your hair is darker in some areas apply alittle extra to that part otherwise the ending product will be lighter in the areas where your hair was darker to begin with. and trust me, people will know that you did it yourself.
-and finally make sure you buy a coloring set that is reliable and by that i mean, dont get a cheapo set,..if you do your hair will hate you. haha
...so i hope that helps! and congrats on going dark, dark is always beautiful if you do it right!
