i opened this present early without my parents knowing.....it was a really ugly vera bradley purse. il ove the purse just not the pattern (its apple green)....should i tell them.....what if they dont have a receipt? they spent a lot of money on it........but its soooo ugly!

That is tough since you don't want to hurt their feelings. But if I gave you the gift and spent a lot of money onit, I'd want you to be happy with it. Let them know you love the purse but would like to swap it for another color. If not, you'll be stuck getting apple green stuff for the rest of your life. Believe me since I still get teal!

dont tell them. just go online one day and find the one they got and a few other ugly ones and then find the one you want too. and also pull up a couple other things you want for xmas... then get your mom or dad or whoever and b like o come here come here!! im dying to have this!!! and show them some of the diff stuff you want.. then be like omg this is soo cute i want this one!! ...and as yall are talking be like omg that is soooooo ugly!!! that color is awful!!! blah blah blah!! so that way your doing it but not obvious because your showing her a variety of diff things...not just that ONE purse.. ya know?!?? goodluck and i hope you wrapped it exactly how it was before!!!! lol

Um, well first you should not have opened it! Just wear it a couple times, and then say " Mom, Dad I really don't like this purse." If they ask why? Say it's out of style and kind of ugly.

Either tell them you don't really like the color and you would like to exchange it, or just carry it for a little bit to make them feel good. Who knows if all your friends like it you may grow fond of it too.

You can't tell um, Sell it on ebay if ya don't want it, your just pressumin they might not have the receipt, but they might have it too, especially if it cost alot! i should imagine the shop will refund or exchange if its brand new!
