my dog licks. she does not stop. it is driving my mom dad and me insane. if she could she would lick 24/7.

how should i get her to stop?

She is probably having a reaction to something in her environment. it could be her diet or she may have had an allergy previously which has since cleared up but she has gotten into the habit that licking made her feel better by releasing endorphines into her brain. I'd get a check to vet to check her over to decide if the licking is a reaction to something or if its a habit she has got into. - Hope this helps

If you want her to stop put something bad tasting (hot sauce?) on your hand and when she goes to lick you she will taste the hot sauce and quit licking...takes a while for her to completely stop but sooner or later (my dog did anyways) she should stop....hope this helped?...if thats even the question lol
