I had that project in high school. I had 3 sets of teeth (one huge, one adult and one child's teeth) and a huge toothbrush and I explained how to brush, what to brush with, what to floss with, and I dressed the part.
Or your project can all be data and you can show a short video, or even one like a comic strip, telling about tooth decay, what products do what, whitening, how a dental hygienist cleans between the teeth, polishes the teeth, x-rays, how to clean the tongue, about partials, and different kinds of metals used to fill the holes, about cosmetic dentistry, veneers, gels/creams, proper toothbrush to use, what education is needed for a dental hygienist and dentist, tooth saving and root canals, how not cleaning the teeth can give you a heart attack, etc.

How about a toothpaste comparison? You could also try comparing abrasives not designed for teeth. You could try polling a dentist office and asking what they recommend for products. You could measure the amount of plaque build up after various time periods. I can't think of many more, but hope that helps.
