She is in 6th grade and I'm in 8th, I don't know how she'll answer, if she says no, I'll be really upset 'cause i haven't had a date in a really long time.

And by the way, she walks with me and a black 7th grader and she'll probably say that, how about that now?

You should be interested in her hobbies and talk to her more. You guys will be best friends before she thinks about dating, and when you ask do it when she just got finished talking about her favorite hobbies. like "I really like that about you and everything else and I think it'd be a good idea to start a relationship, what about you?" and make sure you don't like her just for her looks...

Make sure you get her to say that she is not busy before you ask her out.
"So what are you doing tomorrow after school?"
"Not much, just going home to watch MTV"
"Why don't you go out for some pizza with me?"
If you give a girl a yes/no question, even if she likes you but is nervous, you will probably hear "no." So don't give her that option...make her say something more complicated than "no" or "I can't," because those can be cop-outs.

A sixth grader? Shame. She is still a child. Give her time to grow up first.
