I just asked this guy I liked to a dance. Now i see him a lot every day so I know how he acts ariound his friends and around me. When I'm there He's got this tiny smile on his face and with his friends its huge. He won't talk to me but he does around his friends.
How do I know if he says yes or no before he answers?

oh, this guy is bad news. he wants you because it's COOL to have a gf. but he really doesn't want YOU. he wants the popularity amongst his friends. i don't want to anger you, but i believe this

You can never know. If you like him for his personality then I say you should wait. If you like him for his looks then you need to set the bar a bit higher.

There is a possible mismatch here. He lacks your courage or confidence. That's usually not a good sign. Be nice to him but let it go - in my opinion.
