Probably. A man wearing a ring shows he can commit. In addition some women think it means it's a challange to get him. Plus, some people want what they can't have (a married man). To some, a ring makes a man more desirable.

It should indicate that a man is taken. It's disgusting to me that women out there see a man's wedding ring as a challenge.

I have been married for just over 1 1/2 yrs but been in the relationship for almost 9 yrs. Since my husband and I got married, more women flirt with him. It's like they see it as a challenge to get him since is unavailable, but i know he loves me and would never cheat on me (he tells them he is happily married) so I take their flirting as a compliment. I have a good looking guy that they cant have. =P

I would say not lmore desirable to me, but I have noticed that since my husband and I got married three months ago we both get hit on quite a bit more than we used to.

The whole point of a wedding band is to show your commitment to the world. And that's where you have to trust your husband enough to know that:

I think so. Someone at work just got married and the women in my office treat him differently now. They flirt with him and they seem to respect him more.
