I think that you should set his hair for him and let him see how silly he looks with curly hair and then get him to wash it out.
If he likes it curly you should try and get him to tell your sister himself, But I am sure he will hate it and you should keep it a secret between him and you

So whats the problem exactly? He wanted curls? Big deal. Go for it!! Why would your sister need to know? Unless he is very young and wanted a perm, then it is no big deal. Why do you all assume he has to be gay to want to try a new hair style?

Well, I don't even think age matters here. The other day at the hairdresser there was a man in his 40's getting a perm and it sounds like he is a regular there. Wrong with that? Kids in particular experiment all the time with their hair and does NOT indicate a gender issue for them.

I remember my brother going through a similar phase as perms for men where in fashion in the 1980s and he wanted to see how his hair looked curly, I remember that we all just had a good laugh and joke with him to put him at ease while my mum set his hair for him
So therefore you should have a laugh about it with him and if he is still keen you should set his hair as he can always wash it out afterwards, If he still insists on wanting to curl it you should speak to your sister about it or better still get him to tell her himself.
I would not woory about it as it is just a phase he is going through

Tell your sister, jokingly.
Bear in mind whether he's gay or not, there is nothing anyone can do about it. You/she will love him no matter what.
Some of the young male in my family do 'feminine' things with their hair, but they are all straight.

I'd give him beauty advice and leave it lay. if it's anything more than curiosity, your sister will find out soon enough when he's ready to talk to her about it. It's a very personal issue.

Listen, my brother played with barbies when he was a child and now he's into videogames and football. And if it does affect him in the future, so what, if he's a good person that's all that matters. You should be worried about weither he hurt himself playing with them.

No it is not a big deal! Boys should have a unisex stage of growing up! They should be able to play with dolls and girls should be able to play with trucks. It helps them grow and learn it does not mean they are gay it is just a way of learning!!

I don’t think something is wrong with him. Maybe he just wanted to see how hw looked with curls. Boys are curious. Don’t stress out.
