The sacred golden rule of dating explicitly forbids dating of an exes best friend. How would you feel if he was dating your best friend? Ooh. You broke the rule and came between friends...now fix it.
There are so many guys in this world...step outside your circle.

That is a better question the guy you hooked up with should be asking instead of you. Why should you care what your ex thinks? He is no longer yours and vice versa. The ex and your new guy are still friends and you could be a cause of tension in THEIR freindship. He is the one who needs to ask whether or not your new guy values you or his best freind.

Well it aint cheating on your ex cause he is your ex! although at the same time if your ex loved you why hurt him and go out with his friend? It aint like he is the only guy out there besides your ex!

Only you can answer this one. But if its your ex's best friend it would be best to cool it for a while until the dust settles and see if you still fancy him after that

Odd grammar, but what the hell.
This is not your issue. This is THEIR issue. Unless you are only looking at this guy as a one-night stand sort of thing, than do not worry. But I wouldn't be surprised if he dumps you in order to salvage his friendship.
