Plenty of people drink evaporated milk. When I was a child my grandmother used evaporated milk to give us with cereal. Although my family was rather large, she had 13 children of her own.

Babies will also drink evaporated milk, it is rather sweet. Not as sweet as Whole Milk. But it has a sublte sweet taste. When you add water to make it, you should add just enough sugar to sweeten it.

It's perfectly safe to drink. Some of the government food programs gives out powdered milk. Evaporated milk is better than powdered milk. Many people from the South use evaporate milk in their food recipes. Some of the best cooks come from the South.
not suggesting to give in the place of formula to a baby, or in the place of whole milk to a baby. But babies taste buds are rather funny, and that don't eat or drink anything.

Sure. It has a slightly different taste than regular whole milk or powdered milk, but it's fine for you. I actually like all three tastes for different things. I absolutely love oatmeal made with evaporated milk, only slightly diluted. It boils over easily, so I make it in the microwave intstead of on the stove; it is a real treat on a cold morning. It's also delightful in coffee or tea. MMMMmmmmmmm....

If she really drank that much she will probably have diarrhea within a few hours. She may also vomit. It is not that the milk is toxic, it is that it contains lactose, which cats cannot digest. This is not something that requires a vet but your cat IS going to have an upset stomach. She should be fine again within a day. Make sure she has plenty of fresh water available to replace the fluids lost from diarrhea or vomiting.

evaporated milk is just milk without some of the water. Just add some water. It won't taste the same though. It's great for cooking!
