I will definitely change to Vista ... but not for about a year. I want to give the boys at Microsoft plenty of time to clean up all the bugs.

Windows XP is really good. Nowadays almost everyone has it. But Windows Vista is even better. I would recommend Windows Xp because it has beens used for a few years and it has no problems. Windows Vista is much better, but it recently came out, so it will have bugs in it. You could try it, but I would say no to that. Besides, the hardware is expensive, but will be a great deal.

Windows XP because it's been used for a number years, many bugs found and fixed. Vista is still in development so the number of problems will be higher. Plus Vista will require more expensive hardware to run.
